Services

Pick a piece. Or all four.

Each service below opens up to show exactly what you get. Most projects mix two or three; the joins between them are where we are most useful.

Mobile apps

From a promising idea to an app people can actually install and use.

We help you decide what the first version really needs, then design and build it for iOS and Android. Our starting point is always the person holding the phone: what are they trying to get done, in what circumstances, and how little friction can we get away with?

A good fit if: Suits founders, charities and small organisations with a clear audience but an unclear shape for the product.

Everything this includes
  • A short discovery stage to agree the core journeys and what can wait
  • Choice of native or cross-platform approach explained in plain terms, with the trade-offs written down
  • Clickable prototypes before significant build time is spent
  • Development in small, reviewable steps with test builds you can install
  • Attention to offline behaviour, permissions, accessibility settings and small screens
  • Handover notes so the app is not a mystery to whoever maintains it next

UI/UX design

Interfaces that explain themselves, so your users do not need a manual.

Good design is mostly careful listening followed by careful removal. We map the tasks people need to complete, sketch the simplest routes through them, and test the wording as much as the visuals.

A good fit if: Suits teams who have something working but hear the same confused questions from users again and again.

Everything this includes
  • User journeys and information structure for apps and websites
  • Wireframes, then polished screen designs with a small reusable component set
  • Plain-English interface copy, error messages and empty states
  • Accessibility checks against WCAG 2.2 AA as a working target: contrast, focus order, touch target size, screen reader labels
  • Lightweight usability sessions with a handful of real users where possible
  • Design reviews of existing products, with prioritised, practical recommendations

Web design & development

Websites that load quickly, read clearly and are honest about what they do.

We design and build websites and web applications that respect people’s time and bandwidth. Where a simple static site will do, we recommend it; where you need accounts, forms or integrations, we explain what that adds in cost and upkeep.

A good fit if: Suits organisations replacing an old site, or launching something small that needs to be right first time.

Everything this includes
  • Small business and organisation websites, landing pages and web apps
  • Responsive layouts that work from a small phone to a wide monitor
  • Performance budgets, semantic HTML and sensible search basics
  • Contact forms with validation, spam protection and honest delivery messages
  • Privacy-respecting defaults: no tracking unless you genuinely need it and your visitors are told
  • Help with domains, hosting set-up and handover documentation

Publishing & IT help

Careful release preparation, plus practical help when technology gets in the way.

Getting an app into the App Store or Google Play involves far more than pressing upload. We prepare listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and test tracks, and we walk you through review feedback. Alongside this we offer IT help focused on the tools around your product.

A good fit if: Suits anyone close to launch, or small teams without in-house IT who need a patient, competent hand. IT help is remote and within office hours; it is not an emergency service.

Everything this includes
  • Store listing copy, screenshots and data-safety / privacy label preparation
  • TestFlight and Google Play testing tracks, release notes and versioning
  • Guidance on developer accounts — you keep ownership of your accounts and keys
  • Responding calmly to store review rejections
  • IT help: email and domain configuration, website and form problems, device set-up for small teams, basic security hygiene
  • Clear notes on what we changed, so nothing is done invisibly

Money talk, plainly

Every project is different, so we do not publish a price list. After an initial conversation we send a written estimate that breaks work into stages, with what each stage delivers. Nothing starts without your written agreement.

Common questions

Can you take over an existing app?

Often, yes. We start with a short review of the code, accounts and documentation, and tell you honestly whether continuing or rebuilding makes more sense.

Native or cross-platform?

It depends on device features, budget and who will maintain it. We write down the trade-offs so you can decide with full information.

Do you offer emergency IT support?

No. IT help is remote, during office hours, and not a 24-hour service. For urgent security incidents please also contact your hosting provider or bank as appropriate.
